I’m a skeptic and I also sleep horribly. I just started taking these last week & I don’t want to jinx it, but it seems like I am getting better quality sleep. I am waking up feeling rested despite only getting a few hours & my Apple Watch shows I’m not waking up as much during the night.

    How to Use

A specific suggested-use frequency is not visible on the supplied product images. Follow the directions printed on the physical product packaging or guidance from your healthcare professional rather than assuming a daily dosage from the serving size alone.

    Key Ingredients

The formula combines magnesium with targeted amino-acid, botanical and phospholipid ingredients. All amounts below are based on the supplied 2-capsule serving.

    Magnesium Blend — 300 mg

Provides 300 mg of magnesium from a blend of magnesium glycinate, magnesium oxide, magnesium malate and magnesium citrate. The label does not specify how the 300 mg is divided among the four forms.

    L-Theanine — 400 mg

Each serving contains 400 mg of L-Theanine, an amino-acid ingredient commonly included in relaxation-focused nutritional formulas.

Ashwagandha Root Extract — 300 mg

Contains 300 mg of Withania somnifera root extract. The supplied label identifies it as a concentrated 20:1 Ashwagandha extract.

    Vitamin D3 — 50 mcg (2,000 IU)

Supplies 50 mcg (2,000 IU) of Vitamin D as cholecalciferol (D3), equivalent to 250% of the Daily Value shown on the label.

    Phosphatidylserine — 50 mg

Provides 50 mg of phosphatidylserine sourced from sunflower lecithin.

    Multi-Mineral & Botanical Blend — 200 mg

The 200 mg combined blend lists Shilajit, Lion’s Mane Mushroom, Holy Basil, Ginkgo Biloba, Rhodiola Rosea, Bacopa Monnieri, GABA, Panax Ginseng, Valerian Root and Magnolia Bark. Individual amounts for these blend ingredients are not stated on the supplied label.

Other ingredient: Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, used for the vegetable capsule.

    Formula Details

What does the 300 mg magnesium amount mean? The Supplement Facts panel lists 300 mg of magnesium from a magnesium blend containing glycinate, oxide, malate and citrate. It does not provide a separate milligram amount for each individual magnesium form.

What does the 200 mg blend amount mean? The 200 mg amount applies to the combined multi-ingredient blend. The supplied label does not disclose individual amounts for Shilajit, Lion’s Mane, Holy Basil, Ginkgo, Rhodiola, Bacopa, GABA, Panax Ginseng, Valerian Root or Magnolia Bark, so those ingredients should not be assigned separate dosages.

This distinction is important when comparing VEV DeepCalm with other magnesium or botanical supplements because the clearly declared individual amounts are 300 mg magnesium, 400 mg L-Theanine, 300 mg Ashwagandha extract, 50 mcg Vitamin D3 and 50 mg phosphatidylserine per 2-capsule serving.

    What you are dealing with

It is not just the cramp.

A sharp, stabbing pain in your calf or foot. You wake up in agony, stretch it out, and lie there waiting for it to come back.

Some nights it happens two or three times. You have stopped being surprised by it.

And it is not the only sign. People who get regular nighttime cramps usually notice a few other things too:

    • Restless legs in the evening that will not let you settle.

    • General muscle tightness that never quite releases.

    • Waking in the night even on nights without cramps.

These are not three separate problems. They share one root cause.

Why your body keeps doing this

It isn't something your body does. It's something your body is short of.

Muscles work on a two-signal system. Calcium tells them to contract. Magnesium tells them to release.

When magnesium levels drop, the release signal weakens. Your muscles contract but struggle to fully let go.

At night, this becomes a problem. Your circulation slows. Your muscles cool. You are not moving. A small trigger, turning over, pointing a foot, fires a contraction your muscle cannot release quickly enough.

      That is the cramp.

Restless legs follow the same pattern. Nerves held in low-level tension. Muscles that cannot fully settle. Moving temporarily relieves it, but until the mineral balance is restored, it keeps coming back.

We did not try to make the cheapest magnesium. We made the one most likely to reach your muscles.

Walk into any pharmacy and you will see a wall of magnesium products. Twenty different brands, all competing on price, all looking roughly the same. Most people pick one, try it for a few weeks, notice nothing, and assume magnesium is not for them.

The problem was never the magnesium. It was the product.

Many magnesium products use forms your body barely absorbs. They break down in your stomach, most of the magnesium passes straight through, and very little reaches the muscles and nerves that actually need it.

We took a different approach. Instead of trying to hit a price point, we asked one question: what would it take to give someone the best possible chance of actually noticing a difference?

      THE ANSWER:

check_circle Magnesium Citrate - Highly soluble. Rapid absorption. Targets muscle relaxation.

check_circle Magnesium Malate - Gentle, sustained delivery. Supports cellular energy and recovery

check_circle Magnesium Glycinate Chelate - Crosses the blood-brain barrier. Reaches your nervous system directly.

No artificial sweeteners, colours, or flavours. Because cutting corners on quality to save a few cents defeats the purpose of making a product that works.

      What to expect

What changes when your magnesium levels come back up.

Magnesium does not force muscles to relax. It restores the balance that makes relaxation possible. Results build with consistent nightly use.

      • Days 3 to 7

The cramps start to ease. They may still come, but less often and less severe. Some people find entire nights pass without waking. Your calves feel less tight in the morning.

      • Weeks 2 to 3

Cramps become occasional instead of nightly. You start sleeping through. Restless legs settle earlier in the evening. The background muscle tension starts to release.

      • Weeks 3 to 6

Cramps stop being a nightly event. Mornings feel different when sleep has not been interrupted. Your legs feel like they belong to you again.

Your body cannot make magnesium. It can only use it and lose it.

Most people assume they get enough from food. They do not. Modern life drains magnesium faster than most diets replace it.

STRESS - Burns through it with every stress response

COFFEE & TEA - The more you drink, the more your kidneys release

AGE - The same diet that worked at 30 is not enough at 50.

Most adults in their 40s, 50s, and 60s are dealing with several of these at once. The cramps are not the problem. They are the symptom of a shortage your body has been accumulating for years.

          Questions worth answering

          Honestly, in plain English.

I have tried magnesium before and it did not help my cramps.

Many magnesium products use forms your body absorbs poorly, at doses too low to reach your muscles in meaningful amounts. If you tried one and felt no difference, the product most likely was not delivering enough usable magnesium where it was needed. Biosphere uses three forms specifically chosen for absorption, at a full 400mg elemental dose per serve. The form and the dose are the entire reason it works or it does not.

Will it help with restless legs as well as cramps?

Many customers report restless leg improvement alongside cramp reduction. The underlying cause is the same: muscles and nerves that cannot fully settle. Magnesium helps both.

Is it safe to take every night long-term?

Yes. All three forms of magnesium in this product are well researched and safe for ongoing daily use. Many customers have been taking it for over two years.

          Is it safe alongside medications?

Magnesium is generally safe, but if you are taking prescription medications, it is worth a quick conversation with your GP before starting. This is especially true if you take anything for blood pressure, reflux, or kidney function.

You have adjusted. You have stretched. You have accepted. Now try addressing the actual cause.

Your muscles are not doing this randomly. They are doing it because the mineral that tells them to release is not present at the level your body needs.

That is specific. And it is addressable.
